Based out of Covington, located in Newton & Walton
counties in Georgia, our chapter began forming in May 2013
and received it's charter on June 13, 2013.
Starting with a single member, the chapter grew to 42 Charter members by the time it received it's charter. It continued to grow adding officers from several east metro Atlanta cities and counties thus picking up the nickname of the East Metro Chapter and ending 2013 with 71 charter members.
As of February 13, 2016 GA. XIX had grown to 61 members from 16 different agencies. We are proud to currently have members from :
Newton, Rockdale and Walton County Sheriff's Offices.
DeKalb County PD, Henry County PD, Lawrenceville PD, Loganville PD, McDonough PD, New York City Dept. of Corrections, Porterdale PD and Stone Mountain Park PD , Georgia Bureau of Investigation, DHS / Federal Air Marshalls , Rockdale County District Attorneys Offices and Broward County Florida, State Attorneys Office.
We are a family based chapter and immediate family members are always invited to our monthly meetings and all rides. In an attempt to be available to all members, the chapter voted to move our monthly meeting to different locations within our members districts, so all members could have the opportunity to attend the meeting. Normally we have between 35 to 40 members and family members attending.
